Delete your Nichomez account
Live GROUP/SACCO members (most users)
If you are a member of a real GROUP/SACCO on Nichomez, do not use this self-service form. Financial and membership records are controlled by your organization’s officials and must be retained for accounting and audit purposes.
- Contact your GROUP/SACCO secretary or administrator and ask them to deactivate your membership.
- Ask what member data will be anonymised or retained (contributions, loans, and ledger history are usually kept for legal retention).
- For platform issues, your SACCO’s Nichomez administrator can escalate to Nichomez Enterprise support.
Demo or trial logins only (self-service)
You may delete your login here only if all of the following are true:
- You used Nichomez on a demo workspace or a free trial you created to evaluate the app.
- You have never made a payment (no registration fee, contributions, wallet top-up, loan repayment, or platform subscription).
- You are not an active member of a live production GROUP/SACCO on Nichomez.
If eligible, we remove your login credentials and anonymise your profile. Empty trial workspaces you own may also be removed. This action is permanent.
What is deleted vs kept
- Deleted (eligible demo/trial): login password, phone/email on your profile, app access, and empty trial workspaces with no financial activity.
- Not deleted via this form: production SACCO membership, contribution history, loan ledgers, or any data your officials must keep for audit (typically 7+ years under Kenyan cooperative/accounting practice).
